Adding questions to a test

Tests are the most integral part of assessments. Keeping that in mind, DoSelect enables teams to create tailor-made tests according to each team's specific requirements.

Create a new test.

To create a new test, follow the instructions below:

1. Go to your dashboard and click on the blue button () to Create a new test.  
   
   
2. Give a name to your test (For e.g. Java Developer, Senior Python Engineer, Senior Elves Warrior etc.)
   
   
3. The default duration of every test is 120 minutes. However, you can change the duration based on your requirements. 
   
   
4. Click on the Create Test button to proceed ahead.
   
   
5. Click on Add Problems to populate your test. You can add problems to your test from two available libraries (Team Library or Marketplace). 
   Problems in these libraries can be browsed based on their problem type, technologies and difficulty level.
   
   
6. After picking out a suitable problem for your test, Click () to add it to the test. 
   
   
7. Go to General Settings next to add more information about the test. To know more, Click here.
   
   
8. Once you are done, Click on Save Details.
   
   
9. Under Advanced Settings (Only to be configured by team admin) to customize your proctoring settings, Test time settings, etc. To know more click here.
   
   
10. Once you are done, Click on Save Details.   
    
    

Your test is now ready to be launched. Invite your candidates manually using their email addresses, or share the public link.

Note: Test duration can’t be less than 15 Mins. Ideally, It should be between 60 to 180 minutes. Tagging your tests properly will help you search for them in the future.
